About
The idea for Throughout the Years began when a family approached our founder, Jonathan, and asked him to follow them around and capture a day in their life. Even though it was experimental, it ended up turning out beautifully and the idea of telling a multi-year, multi-generational story took root. A couple of years passed, and Jonathan had the wonderful opportunity to film the same family again. Immediately he was amazed and captivated by the ability to see the same family in a completely different season of life. The newborn went from crawling around to walking and talking. A new beautiful baby girl had joined the family that very year. The beauty of the similarities and differences throughout the years really stuck with him. The idea furthered when a family friend asked him to interview her elderly parents about stories from their life spent together! This combination of family storytelling resulted in the creation of Throughout the Years, a beautiful initiative showcasing the bookends of life's various stages; from infancy to the later years.
Intimate Stories
Our films highlight the intimate, often messy moments that occur in everyday life. While weddings and events are often more polished, we like to focus on the raw moments that make up your entire life. From children crying to washing the dirty dishes, we believe that every moment holds value. When looking back on your life, it is often easy to forget the small moments that brought you to where you are now. It would be our honor to help capture these moments for you.

Another project that influenced us was a video we created showcasing motherhood alongside Chelsea Jeffery & Christine Rodgers.
